If you're in the Boulder area in October this will be a wonderful time! I'll be joining David James Miller, E. Tracy Grinnell, and Maryam Parhizkar at 9:00 am on October 11th for a panel titled "Echo locution: Aural / Environment / Body / Poetics." I can't speak for everyone's topics, but I'll be discussing Luc Ferrari's concept of a "sound newspaper," which he coins in his sonic travelogue Far West News, and what it can do for your writing practice.
